NSIHL Adult is designed to provide a competitive but safe place to play. Any dangerous or repeat offenders to our dangerous play policy will be suspended without refund under to following guidelines.
Major Penalties (Accidental)
Accidental (due to injury) - No suspension.
Major Penalties (Incidental)
Incidental - 1 Game suspension
1st Incident - 1 Games + Captain (1 Game)
2nd Incident - 3 Games + Captain (1 Game)
3rd Incident - Registration Suspension + Captain (3 Games)
Match Penalty
1st Incident - 3 Games + Captain (1 Game)
2nd Incident - 4 Games + Captain (2 Game)
3rd Incident - Registration Suspension + Captain (3 Games)
Fighting
1st Incident - 3 Games + Captain (2 Games)
2nd Incident - Indefinite Suspension (no refund/additional registration suspension if applicable) + Captain (1 Game)
** One Man Fights will result in a additional Game added to the suspension of the player identified.
Gross Misconducts
1st Incident - 3 Games + Captain could be suspended on a case by case basis
2nd Incident - 5 Games + Captain (1 Game)
3rd Incident - Registration Suspension + Captain (3 Games)
Illegal Substance
1st Incident - 5 Games (registration suspension if applicable.) + Captain (1 Game)
2nd Incident - Indefinite Suspension (no refund / registration suspension if applicable) + Captain (3 Games)
** Any 2nd / 3rd Incident for illegal substances above could result in Registration ban if applicable.
Decisions regarding suspensions will be heavily investigated by management prior to suspensions being applied.
Players will be notified by management of their suspensions applied and will be provided with a detailed description of the incident.
Teams that wish to appeal or discuss incidents or suspension must wait 24 hours before contacting management.
